The project took place at my art studio in Arebyte studios at London City Island in 2019. Participants were invited on Grindr, as an open call on my user profile for volunteers to sit for a life drawing and discuss their experiences of using the Grindr network and their sexual encounters through the App.
Eight volunteers were selected based on their availability and interest in the project. The volunteers were invited to pose for a 121 life drawing session at my studio.
The sitters sat for an average duration of 3 hours, with breaks between poses. Some of the artworks created are exhibited below and my notes of the session are archived at my studio.
