Zaitech is the new modernism.

A Japanese Noh play that is being performed by the pond, which features a mother looking for her child who rests at the bottom of the river. Nearby is a Henry Moore sculpture in the water of a reclining figure and there are fresh water fish in the pond. Not far away is a Maggie centre which supports people after an illness for welfare requirements. Maggie Jencks husband, Charles Jencks is a famous landscape architect (born 1939.) who studied under Reyner Banham, an architecture historian who headed the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL. He wrote ‘The New Brutalism’, which discusses designs like the London Southbank Centre, exploring the identities of concrete and the ecologies of urban environments. In Los Angeles, Banham had an ice cream with Ed Rushca in the back of a convertible automobile. Rushca painted Los Angeles County Museum on Fire, which was presented in the South Bank Centre, Hayward Gallery, in a retrospective in 2010.

If we dig deeper:

In the performance workshop we take drawing as an act of observation and making. We are identifying with the empathy of a changing environment. Visualities are explored through physical theatre and dance from the Dalston Ballet Company. The workshop will be instructed by Angela Hodgson-Teall who will discuss empathy as a methodology in the created environment. We will be documenting this temporal museum that we all create by doing a live painting: and Peter Hollamby will perform as a fan and as an amateur expert of Noh Theatre.

We ask you to join in. There are a few spare Kimonos to put on or grab a drawing board and some materials and start drawing! Invest in people and cross cultural visualities.
