Live Art Performance at Chelsea Refectory, University of the Arts 2014
THE PRECATIAT is a word that has been written about since 2010. I identified with it as an art student at the University and understood the term to be a cross between the term ‘Precarious labour’ and ‘Prolateriat’, across a class struggle.
I used the free Legal department, ‘Own-it!’ at UAL to capitalise on the trademark of The Precariat. In the performance I plain chanted the letter sent back from my meeting with two trainee lawyers in Holborn.
The performance was made as part of an art crit.
