The Bareback Museum Life Drawing performance workshop explores the roles of exhibitionism, sexual health and intimacy and the relationship to bodies and institutions. Working often collectively with an audience and through 121 performance, we are interested in the engagement of open systems and groups with their own philosophies of change such as: LGBTQI groups and Bareback communities (Men who have unprotected sex with men). The aim is to open up conversations about unprotected sex, use of grindr, PEP/ PrEP, where there is taboo and stigmatisation. This is achieved through the introduction of life drawing, empathy and queer methodologies to subvert cleansed and sanitised spaces and to create an agency for change. We invite people to think, work and evaluate together collectively.
